Trump's Board of Peace is getting massive backlash after it was reported that Tony Blair—the guy here on the right, the UK former Prime Minister—went to the Palestinian Authority in Palestine and told them that they have to remove the word "Palestine" from all history textbooks in their educational curriculum in the West Bank.
So Palestinians that are learning in schools ran in Palestine; they don't want the word "Palestine" to be in any of their history books.
They have to do that in order to appease Israel.
I can't believe this was actually—this actually happened, but this was reported in Middle East Eye during an interview with Jeremy Greenstock, who was Britain's ambassador to the UN between 1999 and 2003.
I want you guys to take a listen to this here, and then let's talk about it.
I was asked by the Board of Peace to go to Ramallah and ask to remove from the Palestinian curriculum any mention of the word "Palestine." Crazy.
Crazy. If they were to be treated by the Board of Peace as capable of coming to an agreement with Israel to end the current conflict that had stemmed from 7 October onward.
Mahmoud Abbas would do no such thing.
But the very fact that the Board of Peace could ask for that to be done in the Palestinian educational curriculum makes me wonder what principles the Board of Peace is working on, and what understanding they have.
So clear—I mean, clearly, clearly—this is, you know, I want to keep saying this is insane, but this is like, what? What's going on?
What's going on? Palestinians can't teach Palestinian children about the word "Palestine" now?
That's what the Trump administration under this Board of BS is pushing, under this Board of BS.
They want them to—they want to erase Palestine.
You know, I'm going to—I'm really going to go on a rant here, because this annoys the hell out of me.
I feel like, as a Palestinian, like, it's insane to know that there is one group out there that is determined on my total, like, erasure of culture.
Anything Palestinian, anything, the word itself, they want to erase it from the very existence of the planet.
It's the most insane thing to me.
I previously told you guys, back in 2018, their Virgin Airlines, they had Palestinian couscous salad as an in-flight menu. Israelis got mad.
They got mad and they complained that the word "Palestinian" was in the salad.
They said it was a terrorist salad.
And they forced Virgin Airlines to remove the word off the menu and issue apology.
The anti-Semitism—Stop Anti-Semitism, the hate group that pretends to be an organization that combats anti-Semitism—they stated that Virgin Airlines is anti-Semitic for using the word "Palestinian couscous salad" in an in-flight menu. Okay?
There's stuff like this that—I mean, happening consistently.
The amount of times where simply existing as a Palestinian, or the word "Palestine," sets off the pro-Israel crowd to do something like this.
But now we're not just talking about, you know, a singular incident like that, but this is like a geopolitical thing they're trying to do now.
They want to erase the existence of the word "Palestine" because they don't ever plan to implement a Palestinian state, and they want to make sure the younger generation doesn't even think that that was ever a thing.
That's—that's the plan, to totally just rewrite history in their image.
That's—that's the goal here.
So I want to read the rest of this—read the rest of this article to you.
It's—I mean, really, it's just—it's very disgusting.
"Exclusive: Blair asked PA to remove Palestine from textbooks; former UK envoy states."
And, you know, it goes to show what's happening in the Board of Peace.
I wish it was never—I wish it was never, you know, it was never created.
I—if you look at the Board of Peace's manifesto, or if you look at the Board of Peace, the—basically what they signed off on, on both sides, I have no idea how the PA could have agreed to this, is that the leadership of the Board of Peace, the chair of the Board of Peace, Donald Trump, Donald Trump will always be in charge of the Board of Peace, even after he's no longer president.
It doesn't—it's not something part of the White House. It's totally different.
It's totally different.
Even after he's president, it will—he will stay in control of the Board of Peace, and after he dies, it will be somebody appointed within the board.
People on the Board of Peace that stay there, no matter what, are Marco Rubio, are Jared Kushner.
Those are the people that are on the Board of Peace.
Donald Trump's always going to be running Gaza. Always.
Always. Even after the next president.
The fact that they agreed to this is repulsive to me.
Like, the fact that this was allowed—I don't know what sort of threats they had on the PA, what they—they got them to do to get them to agree to this.
But it's—it's all now in the hands of, basically, Donald Trump. That's really what it is.
Donald Trump and Zionism and everything else.
So, you know, how—how do we—where—how do we even go from here?
As part of a global campaign, Israel and its supporters have been intensifying efforts to erase the word "Palestine" from history books and museums.
On Tuesday, Israeli authorities began imposing their curriculum on more than 45,000 Palestinian students in state-run schools in East Jerusalem, as part of a wider crackdown on education in the occupied area of the city.
Middle East Eye understands that a revised curriculum is said to be in private circulation for consultation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Earlier this year, UNRWA Lebanon, which has been banned by Israel, also faced a concerted campaign over its curriculum.
So UNRWA Lebanon has replaced the word "Palestine" with "West Bank" and "Gaza Strip" on certain maps in its 6th grade regional geography materials, a move that sparked strikes and protests.
This came despite an independent—independent review group led by the former French foreign minister finding no evidence to back Israel's accusations that UNRWA staff participated in terror organizations.
So it goes on, and it just talks about all of these different instances here, where what we're seeing is that there is an erasure of the word "Palestine," and they—and they're starting to use words—this is why now you'll see a lot of Republicans use the word "Judea" and "Samaria" whenever they're referring to the occupied West Bank.
They're just trying to erase the existence of Palestine.
And now, you know, when you know this, and it really—it really changed my perception of history now, because when you see all of the ways that, in the present day and age, they're rewriting history, it makes you question, okay, well, then what—what about history?
Like, what in history is true or false? What's the actual true narrative?
Because it's not going to be something that the establishment, or the billionaire class, or whoever else tried to impose.
It's really not going to be. In Saudi Arabia, there was an article that went viral last year by a Saudi Arabian geopolitical analyst, and he talked a lot about—he talked a lot about Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and he talked about the growing—the growing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
But in it, he mentioned Israel, and he said that Abu Dhabi has become a Zionist puppet in the region. A Zionist puppet.
Anti—the Anti-Defamation League, Jonathan Greenblatt, got hold of that article, found out about it, and wrote a statement on X calling Saudi Arabia to remove the article, which they did.
That news outlet in Saudi Arabia to remove the article from their—from their posts because it is—it is full of anti-Semitism.
Why the hell is Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League—Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League, the guy who's now telling Saudi Arabia what to do about their articles, about Saudi Arabian writers, and what they—what they're allowed to publish and what they're not allowed to publish?
How did that—this man get to even consider saying something like that to a foreign government?
Why is it always the pro-Israel crowd that's controlling what foreign governments teach to their own citizens? What they're allowed to publish?
Why is it always Israel controlling the damn narrative to this degree?
Let me know when Germany is running around doing the same thing.
Let me know when the United States is running around doing the same thing to this degree.
They're just totally erasing, like, off of the existence of the planet, all of—like, not just domestically, not just their domestic curriculum, but then going to other countries and being like, you can't say this, you can't say that, you can't say that, and threatening them.
It's—it's—you know, they did the same thing in Indonesia.
In Indonesian school elementary education textbooks, the Anti—or the US special envoy to combat anti-Semitism, Yehuda Kaploon, did the same thing there, and he—basically, they threatened Indonesia to go ahead and change their textbooks and what they write about when it comes to Israel.
So, you know, the more—this is why people—when people ask, why—what's up with this all—all of this talk about Israel? What's up with all of this talk about Israel?
Because Israel is the only one doing this sort of stuff.
Israel is the only country that's doing it to this degree.
The pro-Israel crowd, really, the—the obsession with controlling the narrative and rewriting history, even if it comes at the erasure of another entire ethnic group, that's totally fine, as long as Israel is okay.
We're going to go ahead and rewrite history.
We're going to force people to rewrite history.
And if they don't oblige, we're going to murder them and steal their land either way.
That's why I'm so big on, you know, making sure we know.
I—especially as a Palestinian, like, I'm kind of annoying with my family and stuff with it, because I'm really big on, like, having them know their—their roots.
I'm really big on historical stuff.
So I'll pull old documents, and I'll circulate it around to, like, cousins and stuff.
I found a document from the Ottoman Empire from 1538.
I wanted to see how old I can—the oldest village—the oldest writing I could find from my—from my family's village, or the oldest writing out there in the world about my family's village, Burin in the West Bank.
So I looked back, and I found—and I—this took me like 3 months to find, and I'm—and I'm still trying to get it, like, printed off so I can mail it, or so I can give it out to my cousins.
But I found a tax document from the Ottoman Empire from 1538 of Palestine, and it had—it's a big daftar, so it's about 140 pages, and it lists the names of every village, and then the head of households for each village.
And I found my family's village on there, and it had 120 households in 1538.
And I was looking at some of the names and some of the, like, the names of the—it would be like, son of this, son of that.
Anyways, I—I finally got that document, and I started, like, sharing it with some of my cousins and stuff.
And it took me like 3 months to find that.
I really had to dig through to figure out where to find it.
The reason I'm bringing it up is because there's a whole other group that's, like, constantly erasing and constantly attempting to erase the existence of Palestinians, to erase the existence of Palestinian cities and villages and towns.
And it's really important that if you're a Palestinian, it's really damn important that you really know your history well, and not only know your history, but you preserve it.
Like, get into—like, find the historical artifacts, like, have things documented, and spread it.
Spread it among your community, because there's a whole other—there's a whole other group that's actively trying to erase it.
That's why I really like this—this map I have behind me too.
This map's, you know, really special to me.
It's a—it's a really, really old map showing Syria, Palestina, and showing all of the different little Palestinian—all of the Palestinian towns and everything.
And that one's a pretty old one too. But it's important.
I think it's important that we know our history, because if we don't, somebody else is going to write our own history for us, which is—this is what's happening now.

Trump Tells Palestine President To Remove Word "Palestine" From School Curriculum
Rashid discusses allegations that Tony Blair, acting on behalf of a "Board of Peace" associated with Donald Trump, requested the Palestinian Authority remove the word "Palestine" from history textbooks.
Rashid expresses strong disapproval, viewing this as part of a broader geopolitical effort to erase Palestinian identity and history, particularly to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state and influence younger generations.
Rashid also highlights other instances of perceived erasure and emphasizes the importance of Palestinians preserving their own historical records.
Key Points
It was reported that Tony Blair, at the request of the "Board of Peace," visited the Palestinian Authority to ask for the removal of the word "Palestine" from their educational curriculum's history textbooks.
This report originated from an interview with Jeremy Greenstock, Britain's former ambassador to the UN.
The speaker criticizes the "Board of Peace" and its actions, questioning its principles and understanding of the conflict.
A past incident involving Virgin Airlines removing "Palestinian couscous salad" from its menu due to Israeli complaints is cited as a precedent for efforts to erase Palestinian identity.
The speaker suggests this is a geopolitical strategy to erase the existence of Palestine, particularly for younger generations, to prevent the idea of a Palestinian state.
Republicans are noted for using terms like "Judea" and "Samaria" instead of the West Bank.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Jonathan Greenblatt are mentioned for allegedly pressuring Saudi Arabia to remove an article critical of Abu Dhabi's ties to Israel.
The US special envoy to combat anti-Semitism, Yehuda Kaploon, allegedly threatened Indonesia to change textbooks regarding Israel.
The speaker shares a personal effort to find and preserve a 1538 Ottoman Empire tax document mentioning their family's village, Burin, as an example of historical preservation.
An old map showing "Syria, Palestina" is presented as a historical artifact.
Takeaways
There is a perceived systematic effort by certain groups and individuals to erase the word "Palestine" from historical and educational contexts globally.
This erasure is viewed as a strategy to rewrite history, prevent the recognition of a Palestinian state, and undermine Palestinian identity.
Preserving Palestinian history and cultural identity is presented as a crucial act of resistance against these erasure attempts.
The speaker questions the influence of pro-Israel groups in dictating narratives and educational content in other countries.
